The Project – With approximately 85% of energy costs for this customer associated with refrigeration, our engineers focused on reducing energy use in this key area to have the greatest positive impact on the company’s bottom line. Our staff also focused on measures that would reduce energy consumption while maintaining the critical refrigeration processes in operation.

The Results – In total, capital projects and low-cost system tune-ups were implemented to save the customer approximately $64,000 per year in energy costs across several facilities. The energy saving projects qualified for utility incentives to help buy down implementation costs. The customer was very pleased with the results
